So today portalarium is doing another one of their shitty telethon scams, this time led by queen berek. interesting that richard garriott on the eve of launching sota is NOT in austin with his team but staying far away from the shit. It is perfectly fitting since this he has never done jack squat anyways. let the trainwreck begin!

The average dollar per backer has jumped up to 152 it was at 150 a day ago. Steam users daily peak is around 85. Should be interesting to look at that tomorrow.

Last was 5/2 at $69000. They're at $67,500 right now so they'll pass that easily and will make it their most successful telethon yet.

$130,000 now. People are struggling to even get in the 'end of world party' zone atm. Even Richard and the team can't get into the end of world party zone. RG just said its taken him at least 5-10 minutes to just load into the scene.

So after the event the average backer spent is up to almost 154 and as for steam charts they are still sitting around 85 people and have yet to hit an all time high for peak players on the platform.
Hey if these people can fund a game good on them.
The average spent is pretty crazy considering the base game is 45-50 and has been as low as 20-25. There's some heavily invested people.

It'll only go up tonight around 8-11 eastern it should hit its peak.
Also, only about 2/5 of the backer accounts have linked.
I don't doubt people will play. They did have 60k accounts. Plenty of people were waiting for final wipe to check out the game. Whether they hang with it is the real question.
