Yep all crash games are all complete platformin, I also think Tomb Raider was up there for platforming as well the original ones.

I liked Tomb Raider, but geez that girl was crying, screaming and whining the whole time. I'll probably go back and play it again sometime, because I only got 29/50 achievements. I tend to try to get them all.

Prince of Persia (the newer release of the game too) is in that category too. I liked that game a lot.

Friend reminded me of Firebrand today. Anyone remember Demon's Crest? Kind of a different breed of platformer/exploration game.

The last two Rayman games (I have no experience with the series otherwise and never bothered with it) are pretty fantastic.
This level sold me on it
Its one of the few games that really shines best on the WiiU, but its also available on the other platforms including PC.
One more for good measure

Prince of Persia (the newer release of the game too) is in that category too. I liked that game a lot. The OG PoP was pretty fun. It felt like Crash Bandassassin's Creed (not that I like AC, but the combat was entertaining to watch).
