The SotA servers must have a command interface. That command interface must log.
We've seen some of the basic stats being pumped out of that system in a small way. I would like more, and based on HB's post a short time ago I think many would appreciate some VIRTUE and transparency for a fucking change.
It is simple. Take a log collection mechanism such as Papertrail, Loggly, or Splunk and have it collect the logs specifically in relation to all user commands across any running instance/server. Many of these solutions are either free or offer a limit far more than it would be to collect simple user commands from these sources, so it is free. It is also very easy to setup, if I can do it in an hour, they could probably do it in 30 mins.
What does this do? This might finally provide us some peace of mind, it might show us that even due to their past mis-adventure with the community some level of trust can be established. We would be able to see every command they run, including past favourites such as: /add gold 500000 "Baron Violation"
Present the data in a web interface for us so that we can search through it ourselves.
What do you guys think about Project VIRTUE?

I think it's an awesome idea!
It will never happen of course. RG and crew wouldn't know virtue or transparency if it came up and bit them in the face.

There are plenty of people still invested in the game, myself included, for better or for worse. Starr has always mouthed off at transparency when talking about the crowd. But there isn't any. I would just like to see some fairness, for everyone's sake, but you know they would probably just create another character and filter the fucker's commands out of the system in any case. Dirty bastards.

I'll bet money on it that this system is already in place, we as players just cannot see it. Chris has so much data mining stuff packed into the game it is on the verge of being stalkerish. Some of the numbers on things this guy puts out makes you ask why he's even collecting this kind of information and really if he's going that far, what else is he collecting? I am all for this system though, especially to point out the things that you mentioned even though they don't exactly keep it a secret. I remember the forum thread about people complaining that certain people were getting hand outs the second Dev+ went live(Violation was one people getting the hand outs) but yea the developers replied with basically that they won't stop giving out stuff to certain people and that the community needs to learn to deal with that. Other than spying on the developers I don't know what else this system would be good for though, hopefully at some point we will see 0 commands being available for players, well maybe one and that would be /stuck.
