I was going to comment on this days ago but resisted the urge, Drocis is quite the idiot, how kind of him to provide us with another one of his bullshit fanboy posts. Judging by his little statement at the end of his post which I can't quite make sense of, it does seem like he's mad at trolls. I know a lot of the people that complain about the game, the ones he considers to be snarking, started out trying to help the game in a more civil matter. It's to bad that the developers turned out to be the real trolls here, if they only listened to the snarkers they would have a way more successful game. RG stated in a previous video that we will get 5 years only if the community allows it, in which he was referring to money. So it very well could be less than 5 years if funding fails and they are stuck with that mentality. I can't see that happening though, to many people would be pissed, even the fanboys so I'm going to say the game will last 5 years. I'm going it a 5 year span because of how they are releasing episodes, most probably will come back to try the new content than leave shortly after. Most likely will die off quickly after the episode hype is over. Whenever I read these threads it always amazes me how many clueless fanboy casuals have banded together in this game.

The SotA forum is seething with the Jimmy Jones juice drinkers, for sure.
Not unless Port starts pulling rabbits out of all hats they have been handing out, It won't last 20 years with a public source code.
With the standard in the Industry "Bank" move for more cash, they should try using the standard in the Industry, "full optimization as you go", since R1.
This game will never be optimized, It will always be a memory hog.

They said a while ago that they know what is causing the lag, memory, whatever issues and that they were waiting for Unity 5 to fix them. Let's see if they actually can pull that off now that Unity 5 is here, the problems they stated seemed easy enough to fix.
