He honestly believes that there never was a promise for a single player side.... That is what I was waiting for you guys to dig out. But it is ok, he is going to go back and check it out. I look forward to his revisions.

I look forward to his revisions. He didn't even know some basic stuff....is he being paid? It sounds like it. He also thinks the community is healthy.

Well, the only thing he is going to write about is all that he is told and what he can gather from playing himself. There isn't much of an investigative attribute to these articles, just, here is what these guys say who I really like a lot, kind of deal.
Paid? Sure, he runs a marketing company. But I'd say it is more of a case of fluff than anything else. Unless coy man be coy.

Now his name is hidden, even from his domain. But this is him:

But what we all know is, marketing is his full-time job. It used to be really easy to find information on him and his work. Now his name is hidden, even from his domain. But this is him: He is a known paid shill.

I've had to change that original post, because there seems to be 2 of him in San Antonio - one is a security agency and the other a marketing agency. Can't find his name on either except through Twitter

Here is an article he wrote: "The Art of Deception. Having a Masters in Manipulation. Certified Con & Networking Artist. The terms for Social Engineering are numerous, catchy, and almost exclusively negative. However, as is the case with all such mighty powers, Social Engineering can be used for either good or bad, and it’s the engineer himself who stands as either a paragon of righteousness or dastardly evil-doer. Protecting your team against social engineering is important from a security standpoint, as well as just part of how to be a good leader. However just as important is teaching your people the positive side of social engineering in order to build them up as individuals and give them important tools for success." www.red-knight.com/social-engineering/

That is probably worthy of a bit more scrutiny... Red may not have been kidding when he said this then:
"Actually, I think it was MY attempt to change the language that may have crept into Starr's lexicon. A long time ago, I wrote an article for some other folks about what I called the "Cult of Perpetual Beta." That article came out several years ago, and I was blasting Mechwarrior Online at the time, I think. But plenty of other folks have done it. MWO, Neverwinter, and Crowfall is looking like it'll take advantage of the idea, as well. ...Firefall. Man, was Firefall bad about that. There are a boat load of smaller and indie projects out there that have been in "beta" for years. Is Minecraft even technically released yet?"
Something I've not considered are outside influences on SotA like that...
