Here is the BS on it. Themo and Wrath both claim "someone sent it to them." Why don't they tell Port who that "someone" was so that it can be dealt with? Who are they protecting? Someone knows the answers. It's been one huge mind fuck. Who gets off on this stuff? Don't we have enough wars and fighting in the world? Do you want to kill or harass anyone that you don't like? Seriously? Maybe seek counseling. Because creating multiple online alts/personas, for whatever the "good" reason, it is not right. I would never, and have never done that. It's not my job to make the world right, least of all SotA. For all I know, Mordecai is also IM. And everyone else on this forum - for the purpose of getting people to sign up and doxxing them. Who really knows? I sure as fuck don't, but I feel I've been used. To me the forums were a form of entertainment, but this is not entertaining. I went directly to Acid when this happened and I also reported it to the proper authorities in many levels. I take that kind of thing very seriously... just as an FYI. Cant comment on the rest of your statement though.

the sender used this forums logo If someone actually took the time to dox you, why would they leave that kind of trail? I'd think they'd do it anonymously. But if they emailed you instead of PMed you on SotA, you have their email address and should have it traced. Question is, why don't you tell us who it was? Or who they said they were? Your nonchalant PM that "you don't care about that stuff" or whatever you said, after you'd been that seriously doxed? Your attitudes do not corroborate.

Portalarium has an issue that is apparent. There are people out there that are clearly more upset with them than we are, and they take it to the next level. Hopefully Themo and Wrath have indeed given them all the information because as funny as this will sound from me, with that information they are the only ones who can really be trusted with it.
Where I have an issues is that if Portalarium is told about any one of their users being doxxed they should really contact them and say hey there is something we've come across about you. That is where they have not really done and where my sympathy stops on this matter.
Someone is after their users, and I think their users have a right to know.

The sort of person who spends all day online abusing women because he was caught sniffing their bicycle seats at school. I am guilty of taking pot shots of people in my blog through a dark parody, and maybe making it easier for really unscrupulous people to use us as a weapon because we're now in one place but it didn't start here on this forum that much is clear. The important thing, kids, isn't who is right or who is wrong, or who started what first. It's that the problematic assholes at SotA (and let's stop separating the flock from the shepherd on this) are voracious, lumpy meat curtains who have, through their own circle jerk inducing cliques and gated POT paywalling, created a detestable climate of condescension, passive aggression, blind cult-like fanaticism and, quite simply, a shitty attitude towards the game industry and its participants as whole. These are the same fuck-os that chased away role-players from the RP communities on UO servers, from getting to know the community in Mos Eisley cantina on SWG, and doubtlessly blacklisted "outsiders" similarly on other games because they wanted to relive their high school years as the Prom Queens and Football Captains of their respective gaming environments. And heaven forbid if someone who would actually play the fucking game would come along and ruin that for them, the audacity they would have to have. Surprise, surprise that their Lord and Savior, Dick Garriott, led the charge with his battle cry, "All other devs are lazy", and championed that sense of arrogance from Day 1. As y'all have seen, the positive reviews, by and large, come from those who could arguably be categorized as non-gamers. They completely lack the experience or investment in the industry, from either production or participation, to make the outrageous claims we keep seeing, such as, "No other game has the transparency of Port/ SotA" or "This game is doing way more than any other game has ever done before!" That toxic behavior bred from contempt, falsehood and hubris has created a cult that would motivate the kind of behavior we're not at all unexpected to hear of coming from SotA's fandom. Luckily, doxxing or not, I wouldn't worry about it; the cowardice that leads to avoiding reality by dryhumping a report button isn't conducive to successful stalking operations. The risk of confrontation is too damn high! Not that it matters, they have their little pretend world they're buying into on the other side of the cash shop tracks, away from us trash. Money talks, and the message has become repetitive. Someone is after their users, and I think their users have a right to know. Spoiler alert: he has the beard equivalent of a rat-tail.

I really cant be fucked to get at someone from the internet that I disagree with.
It seems like some really pathetic minor drama.
Can we all kiss and make up then go back to bagging each other out now?
