Especially those of you who fail to see the problem with moderation there.
I don't blame you, I credit Portalarium's excellent Shroud capabilities as well as human nature. Please for your sake, watch this my friends and wake up.

Really excellent talk! Thanks for sharing.
In my own experience at SotA, I noted, for years, how only a couple of people were brave enough to agree with me. I got PMs from others who were afraid to do so publicly. They, and others, were afraid of the kind of retaliation I received. So they kept their presence secret.
And here on the SU forums, hundreds of people read it, but few are brave enough to register and comment. Again, for fear of retaliation. Because we have seen repeatedly, that they are either banned from SotA or their posts commented on with vitriol, simply because they post here. Yet others take on pseudonyms here to avoid being retaliated against there.
Call me anything, but intentional and persistent, I am. I'm not afraid to hide who I was there, and who I am here. I would not willingly give my real life information because there are people on the SotA forum doxing people they hate. Threats and fear are taking place there. And that is what people hide from. Understandably. But answer this: who would be that desperate to dox and threaten someone unless they had some sort of psychological issues? Because we are talking about a game. Pixels.
It would give a sinking feeling, knowing you'd lose a lot of money if the game failed. But that is the exact reason the game design, the core feature that can't be changed, was wrong. Because when people make high stakes risks, they are ready to chop down someone who threatens their empire. They become toxic and unpleasant people to be around. It divided the community with the haves and have nots from the beginning.
And yet, the Portalarium team was blind to it all. It is easier to blame the whistle blower for being wrong, out of their mind, or whatever they want. Because the same reason - we now have millions of dollars at stake. And to treat that customer with dignity is beyond the goal of the game design.
The game design is to make millions of dollars, on your money, on your credit. So they rather kick out the naysayers and continue to take your money rather than admit their forums are a toxic pit.
