I just wanted to brag, boast, whatever about this ebike my father-in-law gave me just before he passed in October. I rode it for the first time today, and I had no idea how much power these things actually have. It's awesome as heck! It's a Diavelo Estora Comfort (Danish made), can go 25 kph, is an 8 speed, and has all kinds of quality gadgets. This will be awesome for getting around town, other than the excellent transit here. We decided not to buy a car, at least at this point, don't need one. Tarsilion has a bike (expensive) but not electric like mine. My F-I-L had a woman's bike because he had trouble using his legs, to lift them well. An ebike to help him pedal. We miss him enormously, and we're so grateful he gave us this (and other nice things) when we returned to Tarsilion's homeland.

I've always wanted to try one of those out. Congrats on your acquisition, though sorry about your father in law.

I could see Tarsilion's eyes widen when he rode it. It takes you by surprise, it's unexpected how much power it really has. So ya, we are both glad to try out such a thing.
