Hello all.
I always try to see the good in everyones intention. Also i can see the mistakes that have been done in Shroud of the Avatar Community Management.
I do not see the evil intentions and evil spirits some conclude out of it.
At the end i regard all what has happend to the SotA Community as a result of "Not knowing better, false pride, thinking of knowing better, not being open, miss or bad communication, unexperience".
I am not talking about the "Game Creation Feedback" I am talking about the Community Management Feedback Shroud of the Avatar has received"
I did find this wonderful "Gem". It is a true "Gem".
It is about the famous Band "KISS" and "The Die-Hard-Fans".
If you read this article you will find 100% a copy paste of the SotA Community Forum and what has and is happening.
And it is the best feedback i myself am able to give SotA Community Managment.
( And my last one)
HOW TO AVOID PUSHING YOUR FANS FROM DIE HARD FANS FROM LOVE TO HATE!
www.hypebot.com/hypebot/2015/04/how-to-avoid-pushing-your-die-hard-fans-from-love-to-hate.html
Incase you do not read it - ( what is truly sad if you do not)
This is the summary of advise "Kiss Fan Community Manager had"
How can you avoid pushing your die-hard fans from love to hate?
1. Never take your die-hard fans for granted. Their opinion, devotion and money is as important as any fan.
2. Make all your fans feel like they are important, that all of their opinions matter.
3. Be careful about directly calling out upset fans.
4. If your fans have a voice on your website, do not take it away if you don’t like what they say. Doing so will only make them louder, on a website that you have no control or voice on.
5. You don’t owe your fans anything special because they have spent more money or have been a fan longer.
I deeply respect Fire Lotus, the Moderators, the Developer Teams , i also respect all on this Forum ( excluding all the personal attack craps! that you write harming your own feedback. And you should be aware that this is just silly and harms yourself. The cursing, and bad wording is silly and i truly hope the persons attack are able to laugh about it ).
I am a Fan of all of you!
And your Community is 99% Die Hard Fans who supported you.
But you must sit back and reflect and rethink your "Community Managment" Strategy. I am deeply concerned it is moving the wrong direction.
Why i post here.
I want the complete community to be able to read it.
So all can reflect on it.
But i do not want to get it moderated away. And that would happen on the SotA Forum.
Take care
Myrcello.
