JK:JA? I still play it online every now and then. The dueling is good as long as you duel someone fair and not one of those schoolboy admins using edited .cfg files to perform impossible moves with their swords.

Ok so technically the text is well written (I suppose, but cant be sure since english is my 3rd language and I cant quite feel the flow). But the contents r basically as follows:
>hurr durrrr >i felt a surge of the dark side >i felt piace >i felt some more dark sied >some more piece & serenity >herp >derp >durr
It is evident the text is written by a person who can't pick between the two. In real life you would find it extremely hard to switch between the two extremes in the matter of minutes. I am sure you wouldn't be able to even do it in the matter of hours/days/weeks. Chosing either the Dark or light path is a very fundamental choice that affects everything in your life including brain&nervous system functions, hormones and a lot of other things. That's why Force sensitives felt compelled to pick one at some point. It's like this, the dark side is going right, and the light side is going left. You can't just walk 50 kilometers in one direction then instantly teleport to the same spot in the opposite direction.

the contents r basically as follows: >hurr durrrr >i felt a surge of the dark side >i felt piace >i felt some more dark sied >some more piece & serenity >herp >derp >durr Yeah that's pretty much how it went. Regarding the light/dark flip flopping. Unlike the movies, which are very black and white, Jedi Academy focuses on the new jedi order, which is led by Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn. In the beginning of the game as a padawan, you are taught that either side of the force can be used for good or evil. You're given four light and four darkside abilities (plus 8 neutral) to train. The natural flow of the story focuses on you doing good stuff generally (like trying to talk a sith out of a fight), but if you pick mostly darkside skills, you get this flip-flop nature where half the time you're being a good guy, and the other half of the time you're either using or being scolded for using force rage/choke/lightning/drain.
