So this wasn't actually me that did this(I dont think I would waste that much of my time!). Have a read: www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?threads/apology-on-behalf-of-moongate-travellers.21564/There was something else I remember reading about this also, they were accusing Captain Jack Sparrow of doing it? Can't remember or find, but it is all pretty funny. You have to wonder though, why did it happen to MGT470? Hmm? Maybe because most of them are a bunch of twats on the forum. Reap what you sow MGT470.

Got to love the casuals that whine about "griefing", they would rather cry all day then join together and do something about it. You sure can tell how much gaming experience these people have when they are not conditioned to this kind of stuff, this happens in a lot of games, on much higher scale. Most of the time the people crying about it could easily resolve the situation but their pampered lazy asses expect to live in a safe zone and be spoon fed. Welcome to the internets.

What do you all think of MTG? I know IM loves them, but what does everyone else think? Personally, Isaiaihah has always had my respect for how he carries himself, even if I can't spell is name. Daven seems to be a gentleman too, and while the Air Marshall can be a bit rash.. well I guess he is, but I haven't seen him in ages.
On the topic of casuals, a friend of mine made commented that PvP shouldn't be in MMOs, and went on to claim that MMO's "suck". He remarked that PvP is often tacked on as an afterthought, and he blamed the PvPers for not playing a game that is pure PvP. He is a CS, Melee, Speedrunning fan, to give you an idea of his gaming preferences. I suck at FPS's, but I see where he is coming from. I brought up the fun of battling over resources/locations and he pointed out that PvP should be meaningful in its own right and not need loot or power as a reward. He also lamented the grinding that is often required to make one's toon PvP-worthy in MMOs.
Maybe hardcore players should just move onto PvP-exclusive games, although there will always be someone in even the simplest of MMOs grinding the arena, or whatever form of PvP is included.

I'm surprised your friend is like that after playing CS, that game has a 12 year old with a bad microphone infestation going on. Every time I play that game someone or many people are attempting to troll, be funny, racist, abuse people or something. Full loot doesn't exactly have anything to do with power, it has a lot of benefits besides the loot, like determining how people play by adding risk into the game, making people think, create tactics, group together, also adding other elements to the game like how the economy is ran.

You don't have to tell me. I love the dynamic that MMO PvP can bring to a server. Even in CS, you have to buy weapons with money that you earn from playing well, so perhaps he is missing some of the similar mechanisms.

We got trolled hard, yes! It was crazy but it wasn't insane . I was actually relieved after Insane posted his article. We recently lost Lollie and Isaiah both due to them arguing about how pvp and pvp related materials gathered from pvp areas. Isaiah was attempting to explain that those pvp features are a part of the game and aren't going away, and lollie proceeded to exclaim that we (leadership) weren't backing her up. We didn't back either up and now we're the bad guys again. Surprise surprise.

Isaiah was always a lost cause. All he wanted to do was bring "legal action" against everyone, you're better off without him and the sandpaper he's got stuffed up his arse.
Lollie is in a world of his own, though he does a pretty good impression of a chic when drama like this takes place. Well played Mr Lollie, well played.

I thought that was pretty obvious but yea... some are a little slow, especially when stuck in a state of madness. One thing that I'd love to know is how would me stating my forum name change anything? and why the shit aren't you using your forum name?
