It's ok, be honest, I don't bloody like it at all Your opinion doesn't count. lol And, learn to accept compliments. Your voice is great. Also remember, British accents are always da bomb. I liked seeing your Skyrim shots. You really need a good graphics card. I look forward to seeing newer captures from it. You don't sound upset or angry at all. I laughed when you were saying "loooooaaaad" for the slow screen loads. No kidding, it is annoying how long it takes still, 2 years later. Omg did I lol at the training dummy scene. I had no idea it was that buggy until you demonstrated it. haha Equally lol at Edvards reply to you calling him names and hating him: "I like art very much as well" lol lmao "marge is a flower" haha lmao snoring during the loading screen That was really excellent, articulate and detailed. Do more, it needs to show dungeons, caves, crafting, travel and more. Of course, that is a huge amount of work. But no one could watch this and say you don't know what you're talking about or that you're just getting revenge. It's an honest review. Of course, people will come at you and say it's "only prealpha." But at this point, who cares? It's that way now, and that's all that matters.

Thanks Caliya; It's just perfectionism I guess, I doubt most would even spot why I re-converted it (The second Larch joke misses half the final word, the blue wang image came in .5 seconds late... I'd like to change the ending too as the final bit on the ship is the only speech running behind the images it's talking about), all small stuff but these things bug me all the same I'm going to have to do some research before the next bit, which is another thing wrong with the game; where exactly ARE the fun things? Crafting I was about to say I can do from Owls Head, as I'd tested it before... but I've just realised I had Reward Tools then. I won't have any now I think... I've got to find those first. You could do 10 more videos just trying to get started in the game! But yes, your ideas are good and will go in the next one, as did a few Marges from this thread, he he.

lawl @ not leaving the player skeleton alone "the few pieces of content in ardrois that won't cost me real cash money" nemolives this was very excellently done and I enjoyed it very much. The ending about having to sleep on the floor next to your social superior's bed was very apt!

The ending about having to sleep on the floor next to your social superior's bed was very apt! Glad you liked it; I'm guessing he just fell off his own ship and then drowned due to all the cash in his pockets dragging him down... the other skeleton was by the Trainer, and that was the only sign of anyone else in game through out the video! For part 2 I'll flag PvP, but with the population being as dead as it is, I'm not expecting to ever get attacked.

Maybe it would be interesting to try and locate a PvP player owned town as part of that quest. How do you even find one without external resources? Perhaps you could also demonstrate entering that PvP town in single player offline to bypass PvP in that down

I think cal got it right.
You got no anger or any negative tone in your voice, your not trying to be cool and it's just a commentary/observation with that brittish humor. It really works.
Yeah I spat out my coffee when you did that pirate voice. I was like WTF!!
Got 2 giggles from me.
8/10
Would giggle again

Your sense of humor, and non-aggressive tones, were just great. You wrote it quite well, it was entertaining.

Will amp the volume for the next one. I'm not sure how you'd spot a PvP town on the map, a simple way would just be skull and cross bones on the marker I guess, but I haven't been near one to know if that's implemented. Something that comes to mind is I might resource gather in the ambushes to save time, but if the PoT owners don't make it crafting friendly (Ie, crafting tables somewhere obvious and easy) why would you bother stopping in if you're overloaded? Easier just to go to a town you do know and do it quickly there. Gahhhh... I'm bored just thinking about the game!

I think the only thing left to draw people into POTs will be vendors selling crafted gear. Until they nerf gear in the add-on store too...

I'll watch the video tonight . If you can make cuts to the points you want to address you can skip having to narrate it. That's why the timer would show time played even with cuts so people would get the idea.

Ok I watched the video and thought it was quite good actually. Wish you had the overlay timer but maybe while you pick away at number two some of us here can help with that. Other then the points that need to be cut, due to the awkward silence everything I thought was superb.

I haven't actually watched a lot of reviews or plays with a timer overlay, can you guys send me an example of someone who does it well?

The timer overlay can be deceptive. nemo wasn't really working up his character with any intent, so seeing how long it took him to advance in game isn't really relevant. He spent a significant amount of time wandering around and just showing what towns look like, commenting on dialogue with npcs, showing the insides of homes, etc.
A video specifically made to show how long it takes one to advance would be smart, if that's the aim. But it would be hard to criticize how long it takes to get up and running when one is swimming around skeletons and spending time fiddling with homes and vendors and the like. I understand the purpose, but I'm not sure the value with the content of the specific critiques of these videos.

No no, they're not critiquing this one, they're giving me ideas for the next A timer stamped over the top is a great idea for a more focused video I'll do next (just having a few days off first!) as people will want to see what actual content there is hidden underneath the emptiness. The big thing I'm think is aren't dragons supposed to be in now? if I can find one people can run part 1 and 2 side by side and compare the dragon in Skyrim to this one... means hacking through the wiki and the newsletters to locate where they are however, the game doesn't tell you anything much at all. Maybe going on a hat quest too, thinking about it...

Maybe going on a hat quest too, thinking about it... In a couple releases ago, there was a hat quest at the top of a mountain, that there was some sort of dragon thingie- a wyvern maybe (that's how much attention I paid, I don't even remember because I didn't even care). And they made it way too powerful and it targeted a player through everything - rocks, you name it, from vast distances. You couldn't sneak even if you wanted to. It was stupid. I mean, what were they thinking? If someone new to the game actually made it there, without building their character first (which, let's face it, is hard and boring as hell at the same time), they would be toast with one fire breath. They would be toast even if they had built their character. Everyone was dying because of it. I was fortunate to have some guy be the fall guy for me, so I could run and click on the hat giver. I don't even know why I bother except for the possibility of making money selling them, if the game even survives. Mostly, it's free and I have a "free" account because someone bought it for me when they bought my RF account. So check the newsletter from 2 or so releases ago. Or check the forums about a wyvern or dragon, where it's located. I think there was a tutorial of how to get that hat, and how to get there, from someone (Mad Hermit may have quit making them by then). If not Mad Hermit, Envyco took over making the videos.

Ah, here it is, R21. I started it at 10:13. It's a Phoenix (not a wyvern or dragon, sorry). And you can see the bugs in the game in the video. lol

Two years ago when every thing was spring time in Austin and with RG and Crew. We all were united in Boats to sail (sailing type, that can navigate) the world. But no real complete world exists, not yet. So Yeah, of course no boats till the world is how complete? Surly not in chapter #2 by ant means. Loving English humor since 12 years old, yes we had Monte Python on PBS channels. Then when asking why Britt. comedy was different, was told It's a Dry humor, Good so is Vodka! Viewing Nemo's stuff, much like Kuno's, always good. Let's all have a Tiffen, shall we ever meet. P.S. There is another passion, many UO plays all want. Why would it have to wait for chapter #2, or more? The project has been stalling for two years, IMO. This game can go nowhere, If they develop blindly. Who Jaa!! Seabiscket!
