Not an accident. It was retaliation for violating Turkish airspace. It was also incredibly stupid. Don't poke the Bear.

Then we find out the bomber was sent there to die to give Russia an excuse to annex the region.

Then we find out the bomber was sent there to die to give Russia an excuse to annex the region. Tbh I'm more critical of NATO and THE US. Syria has too many factions and too many foreign powers with own agenda. Turks hate kurds US like kurds coz they fighting kurds only fighting coz isis won't leave them alone, Turkmen faction fighting assad , nato supports any one fighting isis and assad, Russia backs Assad and targets all factions. It's a fuck fight. Yet the only legitimate course of action is to back Assad.

The only legitimate course of action is to get the fk out and let the Arab nations handle the Arab problems.

Yes, then it is our issue. I think the few billions of cash spent could be spent as well if not better when securing things internally. I worry more about the visa process and port security than I do about shit that is going on over there.

Oh and Cyber War is I think second to making sure people aren't sneaking weapons within borders. A lot more attention needs to be put on cyber war.

As someone whose wife just had to do her third medical (at our expense) because the government lost the paperwork, I'm fairly sure the visa process works just fine for keeping literally everyone out of this country.

Yeah that is the thing. There is so much dysfunction at every level and transparency isn't available on many important matters, really hard for the population to make informed decisions or even understand anything other than the very basics.
Wait, are we talking about SotA again? lulz.

Wait, are we talking about SotA again? lulz. The sad thing is our media is monopolised by 2 corporations which are part of a greater world wide conglomerate. What started as the Arab spring was a revolution against old oligarchy. It's what the west needs as well. Our democracy and freedoms have been long subverted our citizens dumbed down. This is the same futurist movement of Italy of the 20s that lead to the age of ideology of social and state. The Spanish civil war is now in Syria. Only now it's not the people's movement it's the banks and people who benefit from suffering.

Along the lines of this thread, the world is insane, this seemed appropriate...if you could call that behavior appropriate is another matter... I'm so sick of the world fighting.

dodgy My comment was in response to IM tagging me in his post? I wasn't talking about choice in your marriage.... In the US, this is what happened in September... House Votes To Defund Planned Parenthood On Nearly Party Line Vote "The U.S. House voted on Friday to strip away 500 million dollars in family planning funds for Planned Parenthood. The 241-187 vote fell almost on straight party lines with Republicans voting 239-3 for defunding, while Democrats voted 184-2 not to strip the organization from 500 million dollars used to provide health care and contraceptive services to mostly low-income women." "No federal funding is allocated for abortion services, even though Republican lawmakers often like to link the funding to the abortion debate." Don't allow low income women contraception and STD checks, in addition to cancer screening and a host of other services? That's a recipe for disaster.

House Votes To Defund Planned Parenthood On Nearly Party Line Vote Luckily this shouldn't pass the senate, and if it die it wouldn't pass Obama's pen.

So i brought this up at work and apparently clinics were selling fetus parts for research and holding abortions off to dangerous periods to increase yield.
Is this the knee jerk reaction? I don't know what's worse right now.

But the fact that many male representatives did this says something, and that's what they want. To make a collective statement. This is why it's so easy for me to insult "old white men" as a whole. It's because of them, and stuff like this. But obviously I know not all men, or white men, think or behave like them. Thank goodness.

It's the party-line falsehoods like this that proliferate. Those same people, who like to believe how horrific things can be, don't look at actual statistics like this:
