Placebo, confirmation bias. Besides it depdends what meat you were eating prior to this. If you were eating sickly deeply frozen chickens from walmart then congrats, you're a fucking idiot. Same with sausages and shit. Ever tried freshly butchered meat? We have a couple of friends who are still meat-eaters and only eat organic meat. They said you can't initially tell the difference, until you try and go back. Then the regular stuff all tastes like metal. That alone should be a HUGE RED FLAG.

I doubt it as those hipster fucks can't really read and comprehend scientific studies. First off, I'm not a hipster. 2nd off, I know how to read scientific studies. I've taken college courses in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and a host of others. In addition, I'm married to a man who has his PhD in natural sciences (focus is theoretical physics). If he thinks something I'm saying is nonsense, he'll call me on it. He's given me access to scientific articles as well. You wanna lose the human race to veganism and crossdressing? Where are your scientific studies that bear this out? Who gives a shit if someone cross dresses anyway, as if that could be an effect of veganism. lol You have the cart before the horse there, buddy. It's more probable that cross dressers are drawn to that type of diet. Same for all the other ridiculous claims about men turning homosexual due to diet. What kind of utter BS is that? Plant proteins are shit, by the way. Cant compare to fresh meat. You need to link those scientific studies. You don't see the link here? You see a link where none exists. Connecting dots that don't exist. I could as easily say that all men who eat Cheeto's that are a chemical shitstorm turned gay. I mean, honestly. If eating vegetarian makes IM feel better, what's it to you if it's placebo or not? In my own experience, cutting out all kind of processed BS, wheat, dairy, sweets, chemical and antibiotic fed animals, made me drop off the extra weight. But it helped to have a diet rich in whole plant based foods because it ended the cravings for actual nutrients.

If the entire human population of the world forwent the consumption of meat, we would have enough food resources to feed the entire human population, even with our food waste ratio of 1:3. Yep. Another fact: It takes 2,800 pounds of corn to develop a 1,200 pound cow for beef. And Another: Over 1/2 of all the grain grown in America goes to feeding cattle. And another: The average American eats 22 pounds more meat per year in 2012 than they did in 1980. One more: If every person on the planet ate two vegetarian meals a week, we would make a significant dent in world hunger. Two meals a week. That's it. Temp seems to think being veggie/vegan is only about health. I know of no one among my vegan friends who do it for health reasons. I know some people could care less what state they leave this planet in after they die, but I do.

I understand your argument, but allow me to propose a counter-point:
Bacon.
I think I rest my case.

I know some people could care less what state they leave this planet in after they die, but I do. Actually, most of those things can be refuted or argued. They are also discovering you can graze livestock on farmland, to take out plants and leave behind manure to fertilize the soil. Their hooves also "till" the soil. You can't have plants without animals, in fact. Even tiny ones like worms that digest plant material and make soil. So in some way, we use animals for food. Back before settlers came to N. America, bison roamed by the millions, grazing and migrating. Their manure reseeded the plants they ate. It was reciprocal. Natives ate the bison, and even what we consider waste products were used. They also gave back to the soil. The current crisis in the world is more related to soil health than crops or animals. They pour tons of chemicals on the soil that kill everything, chemicals that put plants on steroids, grow mono-crops that have been genetically engineered, they till the soil that destroys important microbes for healthy plants, and need more chemical pesticides to keep bugs from eating unhealthy plants. If the soil was healthy, plants would be healthy. We grow our own 1600 foot organic garden at a science laboratory. I've studied these ecosystems pretty extensively. We are co-dependent on animals, whether we eat them or not.

I've never ran into vegan that knows anything other than eating "vegetables is healthy". Most are uneducated on the majority of things they pretend to be, that's how they ended up being something so useless as a vegetarian in the first place. Here's a little something to think about that you will learn in depth within psychology but I won't go into any detail. Basically our mind is a powerful thing, and we can in fact create different symptoms, emotions, depending on how we think. People can develop sickness, anxiety, or feel incredibly great just channeling the right thoughts. If a vegetarian truly believes in their mind that vegetables are good for them, that they are doing something incredible for their lifestyle, they infact will feel better from those thoughts alone. Now this is a false reality because they can feel better but are they actually doing better? that depends, of course if you went from eating 10 quarter pounders a day to just eating vegetables while being active working out, you'll be doing better. For someone that already was active, in shape, that ate healthy, controlling portions, to goto being a vegetarian, there are no health benefits but that person can infact make themselves feel it's healthier by the way of mind. As I said, most vegans are just on the latest trend and know nothing at all about anything health related. Organic buyers are a prime example of how uneducated these people are, they will believe anything as long as it's mainstream and trendy.

No health benefits. Fine.
Are you are saying that there are critical health defects in a properly maintained Vegetarian diet?

Here's some more bullshit that I hear from some vegetarians a lot too, that they are vegetarian because they want to protect wildlife. Now I'm as country as it gets and I respect wildlife more than I do the human race but this is how the cycle of life works. If people can't handle the concept of the food chain that keeps biomes thriving, they should just eject from life. I don't like anyone harming animals but in the natural world, species need to be controlled to protect other species, it's how the food chain works. I am against massive slaughter houses with an abundance of wildlife that are not living a good life and I never see vegetarians actually take a stand against these people. You think if they really lived what theay preach that they would be out there rallying. I'm all for family ran farms that treat live stock like family, but no one keeps these people in business, everyone votes for crap that leads to these slaughter houses. These This issue can't be solved by vegetarians alone but the fact that vegetarians do absolutely nothing about it and show no sign of caring just shows what thir motif really is, you think they'd be on the front line kicking down doors. Great fake lifestyle.

Oh and how about the gov raping nutrition in fruits and vegetables with their GMO crap. Turning everything you vegetarians eat into a sciece lab study. Sorry but I much more prefer resources directly from nature itself, not a modified creation from the gov. I don't see any vegetarians giving a crap about how the gmo food they eat has way less nutritional value than unmodified food. I'd love to see these vegetarians actually stand up and fight to protect the food they live on. I guess it really doesn't matter when all it is is a lifestyle to you though.

LOL I was vegetarian for 8 years. I didn't turn gay, didn't cross dress (though they're saying that's what men do, not women), or any other things claimed. I have never in my life been on any medications, have no illnesses whatsoever. I rarely get sick.

That about sums up how dumb vegetarians are. Unable to comprehend all those letters and stuff. Someone extremely more educated could try explain something to yous 500 different ways and you'd still not know what's going on. Should step out the trend following bubble and try to learn something, but first you'll have to except that you are derp and that you don't know it all, being willing to learn is your first step.

I watch this guy's vegan videos (Vegan Black Metal Chef) because they're so entertaining and funny. I don't really care for his recipes, but they can be adapted to healthier versions. Like, he uses fruit juice concentrates and I wouldn't do that. But still, it's better than stuff that is loaded with sugar.
I've followed all of Laura's "Raw. Vegan. Not Gross." videos, she's just damn fun to watch.
