You like those, doncha? In short, we, as humans, are capable of selective compassion. Don't you find it strange, that people crush bugs and flies without giving it any thought, but would feel sorry about the pidgeon? But on a massive scale, aren't the bug and the pidgeon equal, just tiny parts in the great machine of this planet's ecosystem? Besides, we, people, are hunters. Shedding tears for every shitty pidgeon and taking countless homeless cats home is a sign of mental disorder, not compassion. <3 the old manuscripts. The only thing I find strange is that you're talking about psychology and not your usual stuff. Besides that, all seems normal. Excessive compassion may be a sign of a mental disorder as you claim, but so too is videotaping yourself kicking birds for the internet (as funny as it may be). Either way, I lol'd hard at the capybara comments. Аnd I would have thought that you know me well enough to not be surprised I am capable of talking about psychology. Little did I know.... Anyways. The "why" is the most important. Imagine a guy who is sick in the head, a schizo and a maniac. He kicks pidgins and laughs. He laughs because he's insane and probably deeply scarred within. And another guy, who is healthy, strong, who has hunted, does not feel compassion and is thus able to lol while kicking a pidgin. The outcome looks pretty much the same - a human male kicking a pidgin and laughing his ass off. But the "why", the reason is what makes the difference.

I found a picture of you from your childhood: If it is a passive-agressive attempt to hurt me, Id suggest you PM me and settle the matters there. If not, then I think I found a picture of your from your childhood:

Besides, I'd prefer to be shunned for kicking pidgeons than for kicking my wife, children and drinking. Like most people do.
Those same people who would judge me for the video I shot today. Funny, heh?

I never have, but have fished on rare occasions. I used to watch my grandparents butcher and clean chickens, so I never viewed it as non-compassionate. But there is a huge vegan movement taking place in the US that is just, well, disturbing how wigged these people are.

So those fucking stupid mofo SotA carebears can just kiss the other side!! Lawl, no, not really...maybe. At the suggestion of a friend and the obvious "you hate us and are nuclear waste level toxic" that we keep hearing from the Shroudies, I've cut back on the insults and language styles that shaped the place to begin with. My last two posts including this new one today are an example of that: insanemembrain.wordpress.com/2015/07/23/player-owned-towns-delay-shroud-of-the-avatar-release/Do you all have an opinion on that or the result of the change or do you just want to call me a pussy? Go for it! The new style works. The tone results in a more effective message. It still makes you a pussy though. ;-)

I hate chickens. The trick is to hold them upside down before slicing their throats. All the blood rushing to their head calms them down so they don't squirm as much. Works on humans too.

I paid someone to do it.

We've totally hijacked IMs thread. That would be a post deletion offense over at Shroud! I can see how it makes sense to keep a thread on track, but too few of us here for that to matter. With IM turning a new cheek, he might get more visitors, so....might have to change dynamics here.

Even on SotA forums it isn't considered proper to strong-arm people into staying on topic, so I'm sure they wouldn't mo- come to think of it, it's also against the rules to veer off topic, so I can't say for sure.

Yea, I have hunted and fished.
Going off topic is good. If we didnt, people would never have seen a russian zoo. Or a swimming pidgin.

I've had more posts removed than I can count, because I was "off topic" even when I didn't think I was. They don't even try to move it into a different thread. They dock your post count. I mean seriously, someone was on some Shroud topic and jokingly threw in that their heart had stopped for 5 hours and I had to ask why, and they removed that post and the succeeding one where I told him I was sorry he had to go through a quadruple bypass surgery!

Snails can't compete against a modern military force. We will have to vanish amongst the population and fight an insurgency against the foreign aggressors mounting the civilian and military casualties turn the popular opinion of the masses against the war and their weak democratic government bow to uneducated voters.

I've… seen things... you shitters wouldn't believe. Thousands of snails hatching from their eggs with a cracking sound; I watch them crawl out of the terrarium and eat everything in their wake... All those… moments… will be lost, in time, like [chokes up] tears… in… rain. Time… to call Pest Control.

ok i have to chime in as it about snails...mainly. I used to keep hundreds when i was a kid in a little snail house i made for them out of wood. I used to have a swimming pool in there for them, snails cant swim no, but they still slime over the bottom of the pool and get from one side to another, quite amazing to see. What happened to my snail house?...Well...one day....i set fire to them, you wouldn't believe the squealing noises they made when they burned, i can still here it now....and the popping of their shells. £00+ died that day and we nearly lost the house as flames from it went all up the wall, still there to this day...
