Tin Foil Hat Time: The biggest reason for SotA being a failure and a scam is that Richard Garriott himself has never made himself truly involved in the creation of the game despite raising millions of $$$. The premise was that this was a Richard Garriott/Lord British game and if you gave him millions, he would finally be able to make the game he always enviosioned without the pressures of a corpoprate publisher fucking up his mojo. This was a lie. He has lived in New York City from day 1 while the entire game is being made in Austin, TX. Sure he makes a sorta monthly cameo visit to the offices to meet with the dumbfucks who fell for his scam, but otherwise his only involvement is playing the game casually submitting feedback. Now that is all worth calling out for being a scam on that level. However! Why the fuck has he been in NYC all this time, especially when SotA itself is well over 2 years late and still a shitfest?? Hillary Clinton. You see, Mr Garriott spends most his time nowadays publicly spamming twitter with his own political opinions. After taking a closer look you will realize this guy is well connnected here he is front and center at the Clinton event hall on election night: at Barack Obama's last state dinner: with Hillary Clinton in Austin and another time These kinds of pictures go on and on and who the fuck cares right? Except that its not that Garriott and his wife are fans/supports. His wife Laetitia Garriott runs a Hillary Clinton SuperPAC. You know, the kind of SuperPAC that is involved in the corrupt Pay2Play activities that Hillary is well documented in running. It also helps to note that Laetitia Garriott is also a former Goldman Sachs rep which makes the Garriott's have more in common with Ted Cruz and wife. By the way, Laetitia is very relevant to SotA as she is personally one of the investors of Portalarium. The Garriotts also show up in Wikileaks, lets hope this didnt involved "Spirit Cooking" "From: Marshall, Maxwell Sent: Monday, May 16, 2016 3:07 PM To: Comer, Scott Cc: Vaughn, Jordan; Cox, Clayton; Marquez, Karina; Claire Olszewski Subject: Gloria Allred Robbie Kaplan and Tina Tchen in NYC on May 31st Scott please find our DLC event blast language and list attached. Is it possible to send from Jordan and Claire? If not can we send from Claire, Jordan and Claire for responses please. We would love to have this go out today! Feel better Scott! Dear Friends - It is our distinct pleasure to announce that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) will be hosting an evening reception with special guests: Gloria Allred, Robbie Kaplan and Tina Tchen in NYC on May 31st at the home of Laetitia Garriott De Cayeux & Richard Garriott." wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/emailid/20804There is also many other mentions in Wikileaks search.wikileaks.org/?query=Garriott&exact_phrase=&any_of=&exclude_words=&document_date_start=&document_date_end=&released_date_start=&released_date_end=&order_by=newest_released_date#resultsSo it was already bad that Garriott scammed thousands of backers by not being involved directly with game. It is another thing here where he knew well ahead of time that he and his wife would be running a SuperPAC for Clinton and would not be available to create this game. It also brings forth many questions that would be hard to prove. Was any crowdfunding money raised for SotA rerouted/laundered to the Clinton campaign? Did Garriott create a hostile work environment at Portalarium that led to the delay of the game?

Side note: The wikileaks email I have noted points to possible criminality involved with the dinner at the Garriott's as they are debating the kind of language to be used in the e-mailer so that they could circumvent Hatch Act. wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/emailid/17850From: Louijeune, Ruthzee (Perkins Coie) Sent: Monday, May 16, 2016 4:20 PM To: 'Comer, Scott' Cc: Lopez, Jacquelyn K. What is it with you bloody americans and your bloody conspiracy crap? Open your mates eyes from across the pond. Or just place at least the majority of the blame shite where it belongs, at Chris Spears feet.

The possible criminality with the Clinton campaign or the possibility that the Garriott's where laundering SotA crowdfunding money to the Clinton Super PAC is pure tin foil hat stuff. However, it is fact that Garriott has stayed in NYC while the entire Dev team is in Austin. The result is a shitty game made by Chris Spears instead of Richard Garriott. It is also a fact that the "Ready For Hillary" SuperPAC was started in January 2013: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ready_PAC While the SotA's Kickstarter campaign started in March 2013. The problem is that the Richard Garriott knew full well that he wasn't going to do jack shit in creating the game but then went on the raise millions of $$$ on the lie that he would. Everything beyond that just makes matters even worse, especially when you start going into the divisive and very shady nature of politics.

You're connecting all kinds of dots that make this tin foil hat, not reality. You're guessing at best.
If anything, this is probably the only thing I now admire about Garriott - that he took his wife's name and she is that involved in women's rights.

None of which changes the fact that a majority of white women voted for Trump. Until you accept the true feminist principle that women are exactly as human as men, and can be equally wrong, awful, stupid and self destructive, nothing will ever change. It's not about race. It's not about gender. It's not about current click bait narcissism disguised as "feminism", Trump won the election because a majority of people around the world are realising modern politics just isn't working for them any more, especially the co-opted, internet driven rubbish that's supposedly on their side.
Quoting Emma Watson that "How a country treats it's women" is more important than Democracy, which in a true democracy, would ALSO include the voices and votes of women, shows just how tone deaf and downright stupid this kind of feminism is. Might as well argue that it's not important how good a cake is, that everything in the whole works right, but what matters is that the raisins in the cake are good, and bugger everything else... And then wondering why you end up with a shit cake. And that's why even white women prefer Trump, because they're not so self centred, they can see the whole is falling apart and the other ingredients they know and care for are suffering too; even if voting for Trump was unbelievably stupid a response to try and address that. Because women are just as stupid. They're not special snowflakes. You don't deserve special treatment. And Hillary was an appalling candidate even if she was a woman too.

Also, just as an amusing aside, Richard's name isn't transliterated correctly in Russian on his flight badge; in Russian, "3" is "eh", so it's "Gehriott". They do actually have the "a" sound as "a" in Russian, wonder why they didn't use it?

None of which changes the fact that a majority of white women voted for Trump. Not going to let you get away with a false equivalence. The key word in your sentence is "white," which is meaningless. Hillary won the popular vote. Hillary won the overall women's vote with 54% vs. Trump's 42%. America is a largely diverse country. What if I threw in the word "black" instead of "white?" Hillary won the black women's vote by a smashing majority. Would that mean anything to you? As for all this talk about feminism, I fail to accept any argument by men about the definition because largely, they have it all wrapped up in hate speech, then point to women like Gloria Steinem instead of modern day feminists who do not hate men, but men perceive it that way. All your statistic seems to point to is the rise of white nationalism all over the western world. Here you are, a country that voted for Brexit and pointing out the white vote in the US? It's easy to point fingers and lecture when you really have no foot to stand on over there in the UK. I do have to say though, Germany isn't crying over Brexit - though they think it shouldn't have happened, there is a collective sigh of relief because of the obstructionism England has always caused the rest of the EU.

America is a largely diverse country. What if I threw in the word "black" instead of "white?" Hillary won the black women's vote by a smashing majority. Would that mean anything to you? It does, but not what you think it should mean. Hillary also lost 7% of minority votes compared to President Obama in 2012, and 11% to him in 2008. She also lost 5% of the democratic base of 18 - 29 year olds compared to Obama. www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/11/09/behind-trumps-victory-divisions-by-race-gender-education/The figures only point to "White Nationalism" if you ignore those facts; America could be a diverse nation, or a 99% pure white nation, but if you don't enthuse enough of the 99% it's completely irrelevant. Indeed, we have quite a good foot to stand on in the UK, because we warned you this would happen if you persist with this identity politics bullshit at a time when everyone is suffering. That wave of nationalism you moan about? You had plenty of time to address it, after our warning and stupid mistake. But you apparently knew better. And now it's President Trump. As for talking about how you refuse to listen to men talking about their experience, and we apparently point to Gloria Steinem; this would be the Steinem who gets hardly any media, instead being sidelined for click bait narcissists like Jessica Valenti and Lena Dunham and Anita Sarkeesian and your own quote of Emma Watson as if these pop culture parodies were the same quality as Gloria at all? You don't even know what the experience men are complaining about is... Will you listen to a "feminist" voice then? She's a woman and everything; www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/nov/15/feminists-election-misunderstood-women-voters"Trump also appealed to many women who feared downward mobility and poverty, winning a majority of women without college degrees, as well as rural women. He denounced the trade deals that they felt had wrecked their economies, and vowed to create jobs by rebuilding America’s decaying infrastructure. Meanwhile, Clinton partied with her funders in the Hamptons. She represented an out-of-touch elite, and many women felt that deeply and resented her – or simply didn’t care about her campaign." But of course, in your perspective those aren't really true women either, are they? What disqualifies them? Go ahead, show us all how enlightened you really are. Their white skin? Their economic poverty that Clinton offered no hope of addressing? Hey, systematic disenfranchisment; that should be something women of colour understand, right? Why would they want to turn that around upon any of their sisters? THAT is why there's a rise in "White nationalism". There's an awful lot of decent people of all colour suffering now, and all people such as yourself seem to offer is "Tough. You deserve it." You even end your post on such a comment. I do have to say though, Germany isn't crying over Brexit - though they think it shouldn't have happened, there is a collective sigh of relief because of the obstructionism England has always caused the rest of the EU. Who says I ever thought they would? Germany is still relatively political sane, and anyone here who was educated knew we were irrational trouble makers on the EU stage; We've been fighting against that Little Englandism for years. But apparenly you think we need to be educated about what we already knew? Typical Feminist. And also more likely because you thought it would be a hurtful thing to say, you say it anyway. YOU Caliya, you and your nasty little politics are why people are increasingly turning to another extreme. They are sick of your blinkered, identity based moralising which tells them what they think, instead of LISTENING and LEARNING. You claim to be a Liberal but all you offer is sneering contempt for people who aren't as "woke" or what ever dumb buzz word you use to self-identify with today. Want to know more about the UK? We have foodbanks here now. Massive rise in homelessness. Rise in racial violence. How much of that was going to be solved by a sneer about Germany, hmm? But if it upsets you for just a little bit, just like you secretly hope your comments upset your critics... and they're not going to get a roof over their head either way... people here who have had their lives wrecked think why not vote Brexit in the hopes it upsets you in turn? Take what petty little victory they can get, and let the spite of it keep them warm when nothing else will, just like you? Or vote for Trump for the exact same reason? Every dumb comment about "Bernie Bros" lost you the missing votes that gave Trump just the margin he needed to win. Only someone who lives inside their own head, and not the real world, could ever think that alienating the very allies you need, or saying that the US is a multicultural nation but you only need to care about certain cultures is the way to win political success. The UK is equally multi-cultural too by the way. We just had this argument about an Empire you don't quite understand which explains why and everything. But apparently I'm not expected to have noticed who all my neighbours are? God help us all with "Liberals" like this.

The UK is equally multi-cultural too by the way. Of course, with all the countries the UK raped and pillaged, and brought back under slave wages, there's a lot of diverse culture. But, remember, more than half of Brits voted for Brexit. Less than half of registered Americans voted for Trump. It's really funny when you or kb feel I'm being high browed, I get these massive lectures by you. What is the real message here? That I don't know anything you guys have already said, ad nauseum? How's it feel being on the receiving end of the way women have been treated for thousands of years, as lesser people? You don't like it? That's why we have women standing up for equality. You're all terrified we'll be in a position to give men less rights or power, and so you fight against that. Because let's be honest, you all know how it felt to treat women like that for centuries and you'll be damned if women will treat you in kind. It's all fear. Nothing more or less. It's like the family of children, all afraid they won't be equal in their parent's eyes, that their parent loves someone more and the preferred person gets all the benefits. Never once thinking they all came from the same place - women - and mothers love all their children. They may dislike certain traits or attitudes, but they never stop loving their kids. So you all lash out at women, screaming and crying about how women like me treat you like lesser people. But you're the ones calling me all kinds of names, raging at me and lecturing for multiple paragraphs. lmao I mean seriously. How could I get upset when I see it for what it is? The same women have lived with for centuries. Progress? lol

But this is how I really think about things, and the world. No politician - Hillary, Trump, Bernie, or anyone else that ran - is our savior. We are our own, by living consciously.
