In the most recent SotA newsletter, it said: "Release 31 successfully launched yesterday, June 30, with thousands of backers downloading, patching, logging in, and checking out the new changes!" Apparently those "thousands" have never linked their accounts to Steam, because on that date, the peak of logins was 60 players. Now, my game did "patch" and "download" - automatically through Steam. But I didn't log in. In fact, the last time I logged in was February 5. But bet me if they aren't tallying in those updates even though no one is playing.

Its not referring to thousands of simultaneous, just thousands of backers. Also, even the most strident supporters over there recognize that no one is playing. Mostly, they say 'but they will'. This language does nothing but attempt to deceive newcomers.

Meant to hype it up, deceive, whatever.

You just know those dickholes were vetting the language of "thousands" by including users who are "patching, downloading". Customers need to start telling Portalarium "Dont Lawyer US, bro!"
