Anyone follow or play Kingdom Come Deliverance? I've followed this one from the start but decided to wait to see how it turns out before going in on it. Looks decent so far.

It could turn out to be interesting, it doesn't look to bad at all, I'll be getting it at some point in the near future so I'll do an update on how it is when that happens.
I also found out that Camelot Unchained will be using tab targeting, sooo fuck that game. It's time for these game developers to join the 21st century and stop using the boring old easy to code a game tab targetting system. I'll still be trying it, just to see how it is but at this point it's not very interesting to me anymore. It probably won't come out for years anyways.

Salem Played in beta and was the strangest game i ever played and with permadeath..It was dropped by Paradox gaming and the main developers retook control. Not played since launch but it is a very interesting game with lots potential.

I'm definitely not a fan of the crap that Paradox publishes and even judging the trailer I can see a lot of Paradox within it from other games. I own and tested both War of the Roses, War of the Vikings and am fairly disappointed with the games. They are decent games but it just shows how certain developers can take a good concept, idea and ruin it with terrible mechanics, unbalanced crap, not fixing bugs. It's sad that M&B even worked with Paradox and the studio that made War of the Roses, showing them how to create the M&N combat mechanics, they butchered it.

Because of spun off games? You over opinionated sod. I bought mount and blade back in 2005 for 10 bucks to help fund them. Best game ever. Paradox did nothing in the development they published it. Talewords developed. War of the roses finshark developers paradox published. Paradox makes great games. EU CK HOI PILLARS IF ETERNITY. HOLY FUCK You can HARDLY BURN PARADOX. they even fucking release free content patches in between the paid ones.

I never said Paradox did anything with M&B development. M&B, ie taleworlds helped in the development of War of the Roses by showing them how to code the M&B style combat system into the War of the Roses game. I also know how Paradox works by publishing stuff for studios. Still it is fact that Paradox publishes complete low end trash, none of their published games come close to being good, especially when these shit bag studio's never fix anything and do crap ass backwards. Mount and Blade is my favorite game by far out of everything.

Paradox makes amazing grand strategy games

dodgy is correct....they only in last 5 years or so have become good, but very good they have... They are stsrting to annoy me a little with the amount of content updates for games like EU and CK2 they been releasing but i feel they had so many barren years its time for them to make some $$....just hope they dont turn to greedy

I guess we have far different standards than. I think the only half decent game to come out of Paradox's trash pile of games is Skylines, and even that feels like a cheap game, even though it has more features than the newest SimCity, I own them both. The War of Roses and War of the Vikings could be decent games if the studios fixed bugs, didn't put in unbalanced overpowered crap, didn't throw in random terrible game features. In the end, those two games are still very low end budget games, designed to be created and put into the market fast. Also I've played these strat games and none of them have many features, the detail is low, I haven't found one yet that gives me the freedom to do what I want, it's always the same shit repeating game after game.

Dude. These are not Paradox games. Have you played EU, CK, HOI or Pillars of Eternity? steamcharts.com/app/236850steamcharts.com/app/203770steamcharts.com/app/291650

I never once said Paradox made them. Paradox is the publisher and as a publisher you have the right to decide to publish a game or not. If Paradox had any sort of standards, these trash games wouldn't exist. Paradox can hold these people to a certain level expecting things, like studios being active in fixing their buggy as hell unbalanced game, but they never have or will by the looks of it. Paradox just publishes cheap easy to make games to make some quick money than after the game quickly dies out they are onto pubishing the next cheap game, pretty much how Paradox works.
