I like Neil's views too.
I don't have a problem with the magic, or "force," as Star Wars depicts. In my type of work, I rely on that kind of thing actually. Unseen forces, so to speak.
But I like the logical and scientific view mostly.

I only dived into Star Trek a year ago, but there is no question in my mind. Star Trek is the superior universe.
