Tarsilion and I started playing this game tonight (I'm Caliya in the game too). The tutorial is fun, and we actually didn't want to leave that area. But the nice thing is, you can go back. Eventually we probably won't want to. But in the meantime, the game already has us hooked and we've only done the tutorial. The people in the game seem very friendly and helpful too.
The game is free, in alpha, and it's already pretty fun and when there will be future improvements, it'll be even better.

For a free game it's different and enjoyable. I'm not near LVL 50 in stuff yet but the leveling pace seems good. Feels pretty casual atm maybe something good for this crowd for the time being. Anyone playing GW2?

lmao. Most likely hunting for wood between the city and the gate north.
Pretty funny moments in this game already.
Crazy to think that if you are not pretentious about it, just put out ideas, without thinking there are no other ideas, and let people beat on something, you get solid results.

Looks like a few of you started playing. You can find me in-game as Baldr.
I'm cursed so currently living life as a bat. Best skillset EVER. If you see me in-game and want me to turn you, let me know. ;-)

What is the skillset of a bat? I saw lots of people as bats but had no clue why.

With only certain ways of changing back to norm should be playing it more but there's no rush on it.

What is the skillset of a bat? I saw lots of people as bats but had no clue why. I'll never really leave ;-) I was bit by another bat. Got some disease with a 2-hour timer on it. Thought it would go away, but I was in town selling off some items and the timer ran out and *poof* I was a bat. What a surprise. Problem is, NPCs won't talk to you as a bat. Most are afraid of you. It's a lonely bat-life right now. But the skills are awesome! Echolocation is one of my favorites. So is 'Drink Blood'. Right now I'm trying to find out how to craft bacon so I can convince some NPC I'm not evil so he'll start buying/selling with me. The town chef runs away from me so I'm not learning the bacon recipe from him. *sniff* Finally getting leveled in beast speech as well so my chat no longer comes out as gibberish. ;-) I am one sad, lonely bat.

I am one sad, lonely bat. I thought you could make multiple characters? Make another character or account until you can find the recipe?

I am one sad, lonely bat. I thought you could make multiple characters? Make another character or account until you can find the recipe? I could, but this is one game where I want to "figure it out" instead of using alts as a crutch. Haven't wanted to do this for a long time in any game. I guess that says something about P:G. It's also amazing the amount of depth they've built into the game with two people (husband and wife) and $75,000. I was under the assumption that you needed at least 8 mil just to get a shitty alpha.

myrcello - also try out this game. We had a lot of fun in the beginning, but it's hard to keep playing because of wipes. The other games you've mentioned, I haven't tried because there is a paywall for games that are in development. Again, I won't fund a game again. Only finished games. Project Gorgon is F2P, so no paywall. Try it out.
