Steam can be kind of misleading at times, and that is the fault of Steam. I hate statistics like that. If you want to claim you play something, just launch it and let it sit in the menu for a few days and now you can troll everyone who has less time in the game than yourself. If Starr, for example, was playing on the offline client as I am sure most of the people there would be as they have access to the source then it will show 0 hrs. Funny, it is, but we do know better because we know there are two clients  As for his looks, he is a better looking dude than I am so I really can't say much about that lol. |

The soul patch and the stupid earrings are affectations, though. They have nothing to do with his looks, nor was I commenting, on his looks. To me, he looks like a fairly generic Italian. He looks French to this Italian. I hope he's not Italian. I'd hate to think I have something in common with the guy. ;-) |

I don't think DS has a love for games, he is beyond out of touch with anything related to games now a days, I highly doubt he even games. I think he has a love for having a career in the most useless aspect of a profession that he could get away with, with a good being able to be lazy/skill less/useless to making money ratio. I'd love to know who the idiot was that appointed him to lead chaos, he seems way to carebear and faggot to even be a candidate.

I wouldn't be so sure, loving games and creating them are two different things. Even Lord British is pretty vocal about the kind of games he loves, usually mobile platform and weird games like Plants vs Zombies and trashy Minecraft stuff. Where as he himself, would have much higher aspirations when creating games.
The progression of him to Chaos was pretty much a given too, considering his former role of Blackthorn in the previous Ultima games, not sure if you are all familiar with that stuff or not. I will have to wait for the game mechanics to verify how good or bad his role in Chaos will be.
On the Devs though, Chris and Darkstarr included, they are for PvP. There are others as well, but they all have to be very careful about what they say of course, as people like me and all those single player PvP carebears will jump on their asses every stop of the way. The majority of the gamers, clearly, are not PvP players.
You saw how a few jumped up and started getting pretty silly about all the single player stuff by posting in other games forums and what have you, but they aren't quite as toxic as us. We PvP players will really bite, especially when we use words like faggot and C-yaknowwhat(which we should stop to be more credible in our points we wish to be making)... I'm pretty sure that would be a major reason they addressed some of the PvP stuff first, that and combat engine would have required it.

I disagree with pretty much everything said there, first judging from witnessing development, i can pretty much say with confidence that none of the 3 stooges actually game, playing a game for 3 hours to steal ideas isn't being interesting in gaming. Second, I know DS's history, when he first became Blackthorn, it's just funny that someone would choose a guy like this for a position like that, they must of been hurting. Third, I don't see DerpStarr or Chris being for pvp, if anything they are making a joke out of pvp, bringing it down to a dumbed down level. RG is the only one of the three that has shown signs of wanting things that are on the hardcore side instead of being pansy carebear, to bad he sits at home instead of running his company. Also I don't have to get creative, I wasn't trying to prove a point, just pointing the obvious. He gives off faggot vibes, no other word describes a domesticated neutered carebear better, I wouldn't be surprised if he's giving handies in the back office.

I wanted to say this too, I'm not sure if this is your first rodeo doing this sort of thing but one day you will learn that being nice, trying to be a good boy doesn't get you far in situations like this, We can sit here all day whining, pointing out whatever in a constructive ways, I guarantee you that it's not going to help or do anything worth while the majority of the time.

And you are right about that too because the way things are with the piss poor combat/skill system being wrapped around PvP is a total joke. The handful of us discussing things here won't be much of an impact at all, like Chris said they'll come over just to have a few laughs from time to time. Unless we can gain a few more people here and then collectively take it all over to the SotA forum. That place is just full of shitheads posting the same shit over and over and over. Any effort has to be better than that effort. But hey, as long as we stay away from the really bad themes and maybe one or two words in specific this place can be whatever it is, I don't care. The way I look at it is, there is no success for us to be had here, we won't get anywhere, this is basically just a bunch of pissed off people coming to one place to bitch about stuff in different ways. I never came to that conclusion overnight, it's obvious by now that these developers have their own path that they want to take and aren't capable of taking suggestions. They will ignore everything unless it benefits their main goal extremely well, or if they are looking to brag about something like crowdfunding etc. I wouldn't be saying stuff like that if I had any respect for these people, if I thought there was a chance of success, but that isn't the case here. After all the people they have fucked with, treated badly and their incapability of thinking, it's no mercy. The majority of people joining here are ex fanboys too, I wouldn't side with them in a battle and I remember what they've done in the past. I wouldn't want to look like a joker with these people helping me, just because that's all you can bring in. As I've said before this game is basically a fanboy convention, there aren't many hardcores to be had that will actually step up and do something usefull. So fuck these people too, I'm in no way worried about what entices their sensitive girly emotions and I hope DS looks in the mirror every day and wonders, am I really a faggot?
