If it ever downloads. I'm also looking on the forums, and it seems even the downloader/installer is non-consent PvP. Get your bone helmets on, we're in for a fight.

I'm reading up on skills and races and shit. They could really use a proofreader. Even just hitting Enter a few times to avoid shit like this: www.mortalonline.com/skills/Three hours to- oh, wait, six. Nevermind.

If it's taking that long to download than this might not look good game lag wise.

It's saying one hour now. I'm starting to feel like an abused spouse.
Also, forgot this game has full nudity. I remember when I learned about that. Not a particular fan of it. Watching some videos on YouTube right now.

For a game five years old, they have absolutely no information out there. Wtf.
Do we know what skills there are? Is dual-wielding something you can do? What about wrestling/fist-fighting?

Thanks. I saw they have the draconian flagging rules. Ah well, I'm not going in expecting much. Ten more minutes, supposedly.

Where is the Green Machine based? I'm in Portland, OR and it seemed fast enough. I know it's in Europe somewhere, though, so that should be fun FPSing.

I even forget what race mix is best. I hate games that are decent but put one crap pile in like this ruining it. Why not just let races be equal, so you get to pick your preferred look and the player can decide what style they want to develop after character creation.

Going human, dual-wielding, and hopefully some kind of fist fighting if applicable. Min-maxing can suck it.
I did read through the wiki, and it is referring to the game like it's still in beta. That scares me a bit lol.

I wouldn't doubt it but if it runs smooth without lag, it should be fun. Unless something has drastically changed, I believe this game has a grind too, so prepare for that. You ain't going to be hoping in game, putting on a piece of fullplate and going off to kill elves before training. I forget if there are elves though.

One of those games that shows all the lazy carebears what a grind really is.

I hate grinds. I don't mind it 7-5 at work, but I get paid for that shit so I can pay for games I get to have fun in. Let me spend time planning how to bring down my opposition than just sacrificing my time and my soul to mediocrity and tedium in a shitty game of chicken to see which group dies of natural death or falls asleep at their keyboards first.

You basically just code a script that sends a left mouse click to your preferred labeled tab'd window, on a timer that repeats to whatever the animation time is in game, you'll have to figure that time out when you get to play, than add a on off script toggle. This way you can minimize the game to do other things and it'll send those commands to the tab'd window.

I was going to d/l this overnight until I see the comments here. Probably won't be doing it.
If Archeage is so great, why aren't you all doing it?

I think Archage is a terrible game and was ported even terribly.

I was going to d/l this overnight until I see the comments here. Probably won't be doing it. If Archeage is so great, why aren't you all doing it? Why not give it a shot with us? Like any game, it's the people you end up playing with, anyway. It's free, too, so can't hurt. ArcheAge was amazing the first two months after launch. Then P2W came in, hacks, botting. I'm talking people getting 2-shot with bows, having 2x-3x more hit points than other max levels because of buyable crafting components that could then also be duped, plus consumables that shouldn't have even been in the game much less how they were introduced. I played despite all that until I was basically just killing bots and newbies; even though I would clearly outskill 90% of my opposition, it simply didn't matter. "Oh, I jumped you, stunned you, knocked your ass down, nuked you, tripped you again, combo'd for an effective dizzy with another trip and backstabbed, but all you had to do was stand up, turn around and 1, 2, 3 and I died? That's cool." Extremely item-based. There were entire classes that, overnight, ceased to exist while others became de facto win buttons solely because of items. Everything else about the game was amazing, but Trino fucked it up hella bad.

Anything that involves floaters, floating numbers, player tags, I don't do either. Asians seem to love this crap.
