Hey, this exploit and charity from the exploit is a great way to cgarm the community! We are such a noble and positive influence on the game. We merely want to help test the effect inflation will have!
I also love that the offer of free money still gets almost no response. No one gives a shit about your clown guild bro.

This is yet another shining example of how whales control what's happening in the game. If Port needed an epic amount of inflation tested, they could simply infuse the accounts of everyone with a shitload of cash.
The BMC is allowed to dictate what is tested and its allowed for their benefit.
I suspect Port shuts this down because having a guild dictate how and when you are testing is some next level bullshit when you need to create and balance a functioning economy with as much accurate data as possible. You can't even get people to play your game, the last thing you need is months of wasted economic data.
Thise BMC forum stats do suck, but they probably dwarf Envy and his army of alts over at DoD.

I'm not even sure DoD site has a forum. Looked at it a while ago and didn't see one, I wasn't about to create an account and log in, I'm over that part of this lol. That was good fun with MGT peeps though.
I suspect that that is the reason that Port already mentioned the exploits in the quests on the forum already. They should have done a wipe, but this goes to show also that if they were actually looking at eco data right now, they would have had to do the wipe. So, they're not looking at it right now.

Hey, this exploit and charity from the exploit is a great way to charm the community! We are such a noble and positive influence on the game. We merely want to help test the effect inflation will have! I also love that the offer of free money still gets almost no response. No one gives a dung about your clown guild bro. Their "closed for new members" policy makes their guild l33t. Nothing makes it MOAR l33t than a reputation for exploitation. Yeeeeaaah. I mean, how is that conversation going to go, now? Oh, BMC? You were the guys that exploited 55M gold in February, right? Cool! You Rock!Sure, keep the dream alive, BMC, what could go wrong?

Haha, does anyone believe this? Wow if true, wow if lie, he can't win. Devs say spend it, he gives it away. What the? Cooper:
FYI... I offered to hand all of the gold over to a dev. I got turned down... I was told to put up a bunch of resource requests and try to spend it all in under a week like "Brewster's Millions"
I was told that 50mil should be absorbed pretty quick by the economy so I decided to give it all away and test that statement. I'm asking those in the community that want some extra gold to come to Blackrock Cove Saturday evening and we'll chop it up and give to those in the community that would like to have it. If the statement is correct, we wont even feel a speed bump in the economy, and maybe some players that want the extra income will enjoy this game more than they have before. You guys can ridicule the BMC all you want... Were good people... And we know were good people.
Goodnight.

Black Desert Online - i will only talk about the Housing System and why i think they did handle it so very good countering what i dislike about SotA
- the Housing System does not give the Players the Option to destroy the World Feeling - the Housings are all icorporated into the different styles of NPC Towns - even so they changed form limited to instanced - no one cars as it is done so well - the wonderful seamless loading - no one feels like there are prefered spots to fight. - and many awesome things you can turn your house into. - i did leave another video about how to turn it into a tavern and vendor and so. - your workers really to work and do stuff you hire - you tell them even where to gather stuff and such
Vs. the SotA System "for me" Black Desert tackles all the stuff i do not like on the SotA System complete!
and that are important factors for me personally. - factors that drove me away - i have to puke everytime i enter Owls Town and see those Player House Eye let me puke decorations.
Let them in the House.
Just look at Black Desert how they handled it.
And do not takl about other stuff. just this housing system. i love it.

Sorry i went off topic... grin.. Oh i forgot you do not mind here. But read the PvP System in Black Desert Online. I was suprised to read: you loose items! Black Desert offers an open world PvP System starting at Level 50 (KR Version). Once you reached Level 50 you can start fight other players. One Character on Level 50 is enough to activate the PvP Mode on all your Characters, regardless of their level. Players that are being killed in open world PvP will lose Exp. and items. Killing other players will certainly result in receiving negative karma. Players with negative karma will drop more items when they die. And read all the other PvP Stuff - black-desert.com/pvp/Must say i like it more and more... grin to many games i have in focus . trying to find my new home

I dont mind off topic, but more ppl will see it if you post in the other game area Basic idea Black Desert and me had - based on how you behave will influence how lootable you will become. I will read into it, but this sounds like the most exploitable horrible idea ever...

Here's what's hilarious about that whole situation: Chris Spears said (just yesterday): And then Ezekiel stepped forward after this announcement. Look at all the people that wanted exploiters permabanned. But that's not the funny part (well yes that is too but)... The BMC Facebook page has most of the Portalarium Dev team as admins. They didn't know he was fucking them right under their own noses. lmao

I have to say, I like the general concept. Haven't bothered to think out all the ramifications such a system might have or how it could be gamed, but if straying from paths of virtue has implications for the player it seems like a great idea. I'd really like to see it applied to choice in game, following the virtues or not in a variety of ways impacting what one might lose when dying. Full loot will always be my preference, but I came from the early days of UO and that's the way things were. I liked the lack of focus on gear in favor of a more immersive world. However, times and expectations have changed and if they must and the desires of various playstyles needs to be accounted for, I see this as a really cool way to incorporate the idea of our actions having in game consequences. Really great suggestion Myrc, so good I'm not surprised to see the concept turn up in another game. Its a shame something like SotA this couldn't be implemented in SotA, where it seems like it might have fit in well with their world.

Bad news - i just read they dropped the hole Karma - Full loot System. I bet it was based on fears to loose customers.
I have come to believe that all Developers announce during development how "bold" they will be to imp lent a more realistic not handholding "dangerous game" just to keep all hooked and at the end they make a U turn.
Myrcello throws his AWNBE away. (Awesome Without the New Britannian Empire Medal)
